Outreach Education CPR Classes

Heartsaver for All Ages:
This course teaches CPR, barrier devices, and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for the responsive adult, child and infant victim. Participants receive a completion card.

Heartsaver for Pediatrics:
This course teaches CPR, barrier device and relief of foreign body airway obstruction in the responsive child and infant victim.  Participants receive a completion card.

This class is not a regularly scheduled class.  It is offered on an as needed basis and can be requested as an onsite class for daycares and those working with children and infants.  There is a written test and participants upon passing will receive completion cards that are good for two years.

Heartsaver AED:
This course includes all Heartsaver level adult, child and infant skills. The course includes CPR, relief of choking in the responsive victims, use of a barrier device and AED for the adult and/or child victims.  Several options include:

• Adult CPR with AED
• Adult CPR with AED, Child CPR with AED
• Adult CPR with AED, Child CPR with AED, and infant CPR

There is an option for a Pediatric only agenda that includes the skills for child CPR/AED with infant CPR as an option.  To take the Child CPR AED module alone, the particpant must present a current AHA course completion card indicating Adult CPR and Adult AED.

These courses are available upon request with a minimum of six participants or more.
