Gulf Breeze Hospital offers a wide range of health services and programs to make quality health care more conveniently accessible for residents of Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Beach and Navarre. Just some of the services available at Gulf Breeze Hospital include: The Cardiopulmonary Department at Gulf Breeze Hospital provides inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. Diagnostic testing includes blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing, EKG and stress testing (echocardiogram). As part of Baptist Health Care’s multidisciplinary, comprehensive cancer institute, the Ciano Cancer Center excels in providing optimum cancer care by focusing on education, support and rehabilitative programs that meet patient needs before, during and after treatment. The center offers advanced medical oncology, radiation oncology and infusion services in a setting designed to promote comfort and healing. Ciano Cancer Center is the sole provider of complete cancer services in south Santa Rosa County. Since the center’s opening in 2004, thousands of patients from Santa Rosa County and surrounding areas and have received compassionate, expert cancer care. The center is named in honor of Ted and Natalie Ciano. Free community health programs, including GoldenCare meetings for senior adults, are frequently offered at the Gulf Breeze Hospital campus. Our team is skilled and experienced in treating emergency illnesses and injuries. For the most critical needs, Baptist LifeFlight can be airborne within minutes. This significantly reduces transport time of critically ill patients, whether they are transferring from a hospital or from the scene of an emergency. Exceptional meals and affordable dining is available at Gulf Breeze Hospital’s Breezeway Cafeway (open for breakfast 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. weekdays, lunch 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. seven days a week, and dinner 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. seven days a week). Gulf Breeze Hospital invites members of the community age 50 and older to join GoldenCare. GoldenCare is a free program of special services for seniors. There are no fees or dues. Two registered sleep technologists and a board-certified sleep medicine physician serve patients at the Gulf Breeze Hospital Sleep Disorders Center. The center features state-of-the-art sleep diagnostic equipment and four private rooms with many amenities and a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. In addition to diagnostic testing services, treatment devices such as CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) are available at the center.
