Baptist Medical Group Primary Care – Navarre Welcomes Janie Fleming, FNP-BC

Baptist Medical Group is pleased to welcome nurse practitioner Janie Fleming, FNP-BC, to its multispecialty provider network. Fleming specializes in family medicine and offers quality, convenient care to patients at Baptist Medical Group Primary Care – Navarre.

Fleming earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the South University in Savannah, Georgia, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She has more than five years of experience in the nursing field working in areas such as mental health, medical surgical and primary care. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Fleming began her nursing career as a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital Behavioral Health Unit and then transitioned into the medical surgical department. She has since worked with organizations that provide treatment for mental health conditions, substance abuse and primary care. Before becoming a nurse, Fleming worked in the dental health field for nine years as a certified dental assistant and then as a registered dental hygienist. She also spent time abroad in Korea as a community volunteer at a children’s orphanage.

As part of Baptist Medical Group Primary Care – Navarre, Fleming welcomes new patients at her clinic located at 8880 Navarre Parkway, Suite 206 in Navarre, Florida.
