Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute Welcomes Emilee Kurtz, D.O.

Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute is pleased to welcome double board-certified cardiologist and internal medicine physician Emilee Kurtz, D.O., to its cardiology team. Dr. Kurtz specializes in cardiology and offers quality, compassionate care to patients at Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute – Cardiology at the Bear Health Center.
Dr. Kurtz earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in biology at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. Dr. Kurtz completed her residency and fellowship at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania, along with a second fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kurtz is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Kurtz retains professional memberships with the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Echocardiography, and the Women in Chemicals Mentor Program.
As part of Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute, Dr. Kurtz cares for patients at her clinic located at the Bear Health Center, 125 Baptist Way, Suite 3C, in Pensacola.
