Affiliation Agreements

If you are interested in completing a student rotation at Baptist Health Care, please ensure your school and program is affiliated with Baptist Health Care by reviewing the list of current affiliation agreements below.

*Baptist Health Care affiliation agreements cover the following facilities:

If you do not see your school and/or program on our current affiliation agreement list, please have your school submit an affiliation agreement request to student.information@bhcpns.org. Click here for the request form.

If your school and program is currently affiliated with Baptist Health Care, please refer to the placement instructions in the table below.

Placement

Student Type Process
Nursing (must currently be enrolled in an ASN or BSN program) All nursing students are placed and onboarded through the nursing school. Please contact the College of Nursing at your school for more information.
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology To request placement in Physical and Occupational Therapy, please email Ryan.Hine@bhcpns.org with your current resume and availability.
To request placement in Speech Language Pathology, please email Paige.Overstreet@bhcpns.org with your resume and availability.
Advanced Practice Provider
(ARNP & PA) (must be enrolled in a current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program)
To request placement for an advanced practice provider, please email student.information@bhcpns.org with your current resume, areas of interest and availability.
High School Health Academy Please contact your school for placement in this program.
Radiology/Ultrasound (must be enrolled in a current Radiology/Ultrasound program) All Radiology/Ultrasound students are placed and onboarded through the school. Please contact the school’s program coordinator for more information.
Physician Residency (must be enrolled in a current residency program) All residents are placed through the residency program. Please contact your residency program coordinator for placement.
Physician Observation To request placement to observe a physician, please email student.information@bhcpns.org with your current resume, areas of interest and availability.
Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician, Surgical Technician, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant
(must be enrolled in current program)

Onboarding Process

Once you have been approved for placement, you may start the onboarding process. Please do not start this process prior to being approved and placed in a rotation. Students must complete all requirements of the onboarding process prior to starting a student rotation. These requirements include:

If you do not have a current background or drug screen, you may use the vendors below:

Justifacts Background Screening

*Both forms must be submitted directly to Justifacts at DCacciamani@justifacts.com

Any Lab Test Now – Drug screen and TB Test

Order Form

Once you have completed all requirements, please submit all documentation in one packet to student.information@bhcpns.org. The packet will be reviewed and you will receive instructions to complete the mandatory orientation modules. Upon completion of those modules, you will be approved to pick up a badge and start your rotation.
