Baptist and Gulf Breeze hospitals have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report in its 2026-2027 Best Hospitals ratings for excellence in patient care. The Baptist Health Care hospitals earned 11 total High Performing awards. The honors recognize excellence in procedures and conditions within multiple areas of care, including heart and vascular, orthopaedics, neurosurgery and urology.
"It's always an honor to be recognized, but awards like this are really about our people," said Mark Faulkner, president and CEO of Baptist Health Care. "From our clinical to support team members, everyone plays a part in delivering patient care. We are incredibly proud of their compassion and expertise, and we are so thankful for the trust our patients and community continue to place in us."
U.S. News evaluates hospitals across a broad range of specialties, procedures and conditions to help patients make informed decisions about their health care. Hospitals that earn a High Performing rating excel in areas such as patient outcomes, quality of care and other measures that matter most to patients and their families.
“For more than three decades, U.S. News has been an invaluable guide for patients,” said Ben Harder, managing editor and chief of health analysis at U.S. News. “High Performing ratings recognize hospitals that deliver exceptional outcomes in specific procedures and conditions, providing patients with a trusted measure of quality as they make decisions about their care.”
These recognitions reflect Baptist Health Care’s ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care across the communities it serves.
