Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute welcomes Angel Morrobel, M.D., FACC, a board-certified cardiologist with over 20 years of experience. He joins the area’s largest, most comprehensive heart team that is committed to delivering leading-edge cardiovascular care.

Dr. Morrobel earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed two residencies in internal medicine. The first at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and the second at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Morrobel has over 20 years of experience in cardiology, serving in various leadership roles, including president of the Emerald Coast Caduceus Society and as cardiology chief at Sacred Heart of the Emerald Coast. Dr. Morrobel’s professional memberships include the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the Southeast Society of Lipids. Dr. Morrobel is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Morrobel welcomes new patients at his clinic located at the Bear Family Foundation Health Center, 125 Baptist Way, Suite 3C, in Pensacola.
