Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute Welcomes Cardiothoracic Surgeon Robert Turnage, M.D., FACS

Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute is pleased to welcome Robert B. Turnage, M.D., FACS, a highly experienced, double board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon who is fellowship trained in adult cardiothoracic surgery. He works with his patients to offer comprehensive treatment plans that best meet their cardiovascular conditions and needs.

Dr. Turnage earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and completed a fellowship in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. Dr. Turnage is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
