Baptist Medical Group Welcomes Hospitalist John Spencer, M.D.


Baptist Medical Group (BMG) is pleased to welcome new physician John Spencer, M.D., to its growing hospitalist program and expansive physician network. As a hospitalist with the Pensacola-based health care organization, Dr. Spencer will be exclusively dedicated to caring for patients admitted to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze Hospital in Gulf Breeze.

Dr. Spencer earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center – School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas and completed his residency in Family Medicine at CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri.

Along with the team of BMG hospitalists, Dr. Spencer will work with patients’ primary care physicians and specialists to provide skilled and compassionate care throughout their hospital stay.
