Chad McCammon Named Vice President of Orthopaedics for Baptist Health Care

Chad McCammon has been named vice president of orthopaedics for Baptist Health Care. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, including physician alignment, strategic business partnerships and affiliations, and physician recruitment.

McCammon has been an integral part of the Baptist Health Care leadership team since joining the Andrews Institute as the corporate director of rehabilitation in 2014. He previously served as executive director of orthopaedics at Andrews Institute with additional leadership responsibilities over the urgent and primary care service lines.

McCammon has played a vital role in orthopaedic market growth in Baptist Health Care’s service areas. He has helped increase patient access by leading in the development of multiple locations across Northwest Florida and by onboarding new providers within the Andrews Institute orthopaedic group.

McCammon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi, and holds a Master of Science in health care management from Troy University in Troy, Alabama. His industry involvement includes previously serving as the president of Emerald Coast Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and regional vice president of Florida MGMA. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Bones Society of Florida.
