    MEET THE DOC
What led you to become a doctor or choose your focus of medicine?

I have always enjoyed science.  When I was very young, a family member developed severe respiratory disease.  After he was seen and treated by a doctor that evening, he came home renewed and healthier. I decided then that that was what I wanted to do, make people better.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
My favorite part of medicine is working as part of a team that involves my patient, colleagues and myself to help people achieve quality time with those they care about. I get personal satisfaction from seeing my patients do well.

What is something about you that only your patients would know?
Patients say they enjoy my bedside manner and seek me out.

How would a patient describe you?
My patients tell me they find me easy to talk and relate to.

What’s your proudest moment as a doctor?
It’s the call or visit a few days later, where patients tell me about their drastic improvement and thank me for their care.

In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship?
Trust is the most important part of the doctor-patient relationship. Your patient needs to know that you are on their side and equipped with the skills to help them.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?
An experienced and well qualified caring and respectful friend to guide them through their healing.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
Seeing people maintain and improve their physical and emotional well-being.

What are your top priorities with every patient you see?
My number one priority with every patient is to see them become well.

Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personal health care he/she deserves.
Although we live in a fast-paced world, I ensure that the patient gets the high-quality care they deserve. In addition, I ensure they have the opportunity to have any questions or concerns fully addressed before they leave.

Is there anything more you would like prospective patients to know about you?
I am here for you.

Do you have any specific medical interests?
I enjoy staying abreast of the most up-to-date ways to keep my patients healthy.
