What led you to become a nurse practitioner?
I was fascinated with medicine and wanted to help others.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
I feel a sense of joy when I can help a person feel better.

I am interested in their life outside of just their health needs.

Patients would describe me as empathetic and a good listener.

What’s your proudest moment as a provider?
My proudest moments are when I can help someone meet their health goals.

In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a provider-patient relationship?
The most important factor is trust.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a provider?
Patients can expect that I am a patient and empathetic listener. I strive to be very knowledgeable regarding current health care guidelines to best serve them.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
The most encouraging aspect of my work is the advancements in the field and the future of therapeutic options available to patients.

What are your top priorities with every patient you see?
My top priorities are meeting a patient’s needs, providing an accurate diagnosis and providing an effective treatment plan.

Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personal health care they deserve.
I discuss treatment options, risk factors and benefits in detail and then encourage the patient to provide their input for their care.

Do you have any specific medical interests?
I am personally interested in pancreatic and biliary issues.
