Dr. Shah was the first doctor to listen to me, explain what he was thinking, and not lead with blaming me for being overweight before discussing my health issues. I am well aware I need to lose weight and I have tried for many years. In many doctors' opinions, weight loss should preclude treatment for pain. Dr. Shah did not even mention it and I left the office in disbelief.

I was the last appointment of the day, and I know the doctor and staff were tired. I was tentatively diagnosed with [...], and I know it is impossible to explain in an office visit the complexity of this disease and its treatment. That said, I feel Dr. Shah made a good start, I trust his judgment, and he has made arrangements for various tests and a future appointment with him. I'm grateful.
