Celebrating Three Years at Brent Lane and 75 Years of Baptist!
This month during our 75th anniversary year, we highlight our Baptist Hospital campus. Our original location served us well for 72 years — with dedicated community members coming together to support our work. We opened the new Baptist Hospital campus just three years ago on Sept. 23, 2023, and it’s incredible to think of all we have achieved together since that time. We can’t tell our full story without highlighting how all of our entities elevate each other. All three of our hospitals, our freestanding ER/Urgent Care locations and our physician practices function as an integrated system, providing convenient access to care across our community. By connecting patients to the right services, we improve patient throughput, optimize capacity and strengthen referral pathways across the organization. While Baptist Hospital paved the way for the future, all of our entities support our longstanding success in our community.

- More than 2,500 team members are on the Baptist Hospital campus each day, working across clinical and support roles to provide safe, high-quality care and a seamless experience for patients and families around the clock.
- At peak participation this year, 90 volunteers were serving on the Brent Lane campus at the same time, sharing their talents, compassion, and commitment through programs such as Baptist Hospital Volunteers, Teen Volunteers, Project SEARCH, and Pastoral Services Chaplains, enhancing the patient experience and extending support to families, visitors, and team members.
- Each year, the Baptist Hospital campus serves our community through more than 19,000 inpatient admissions, over 18,000 surgical cases, around 66,000 emergency department encounters, and more than 200,000 outpatient visits and inpatient consults. We provide convenient access to a full spectrum of compassionate care.
- Every day, our food services team prepares approximately 750 inpatient meals, to support dietary meals that support dietary needs, healing and recovery. They also serve on average about 1,200 team members and guests in the Baptist Bistro.
- The Bear Family Foundation Health Center is home to 16 Baptist Medical Group clinics, providing convenient access to multiple specialties and services.
- Current tenants at the Henderson Health Center include Andrews Institute Rehabilitation, Northwest Florida Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Terreza Optical, Baptist Wound Care (Restorix), Acumen Imaging, Forefront Dermatology and Starbucks.
- Our facilities team maintains more than one million square feet across the Baptist Hospital campus, helping ensure patients, visitors, and team members experience a safe, comfortable, and reliable environment every day.
- From outpatient to hospital care, our pharmacy teams are essential to patient care. The Towers retail and specialty pharmacy fills more than 150,000 prescriptions annually, while our inpatient pharmacy completes approximately 810,000 medication dispenses and 120,000 clinical interventions each year, helping ensure safe, effective, and timely treatment.Based on the Baptist Hospital campus, the Information Technology team is projected to manage more than 56,000 service requests and implement approximately 4,000 technology changes annually, helping providers, team members, and patients benefit from reliable systems, connected care, and efficient operations across the health system.
