Meet Alisha, who began her career at Baptist as a teen volunteer (known as VolunTeen) at age 16. She later became an R.N. She is now a nurse in gastro-surgical services. She still works with some of the same nurses she first met as a teen volunteer eight years ago. Alisha is quick to point out that the skills she learned as a volunteer continue to help her today in her nursing role.
