Infusions for Urology Disorders

Urology infusions provide targeted medications to help manage conditions that affect the kidneys, bladder, prostate, and urinary tract. These treatments are used when symptoms cannot be controlled with oral medications alone or when a more direct, carefully monitored therapy is needed. Infusions can help reduce inflammation, fight infection, support immune related urinary conditions, and improve overall kidney and urinary function.

Our infusion team delivers these therapies in a comfortable, supportive environment while closely monitoring your safety and response to treatment. Each plan is tailored to your specific diagnosis and the recommendations of your urologist.

Conditions Commonly Treated

Urology infusion therapy may be recommended for patients with:

  • Recurrent or complicated urinary tract and kidney infections
Intravenous antibiotic infusions may be used when infections are resistant to oral medications, involve the kidneys, or require rapid, concentrated treatment.
  • Bladder cancer
Infusion and bladder instilled therapies may be used as part of bladder cancer treatment. This includes BCG (Bacillus Calmette Guérin) immunotherapy for certain non–muscle invasive bladder cancers, as well as other intravesical or systemic treatments depending on disease type and stage.
  • Prostate cancer
Infusion therapies may be part of prostate cancer treatment plans, including hormone therapy, chemotherapy, or supportive medications used alongside radiation or surgical care.
  • Interstitial cystitis (IC) / bladder pain syndrome
Some patients may receive bladder targeted therapies or systemic medications to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and improve bladder comfort.
  • Autoimmune or inflammatory urologic conditions
Medications that regulate or suppress the immune response may be used when urinary symptoms are linked to immune mediated disorders.
  • Post surgical urinary complications
Infusions can support healing, reduce inflammation, manage pain, or prevent infection following certain urologic procedures.
