Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute Welcomes New Vice President Jorge Parodi

Jorge Parodi has been selected to serve as the vice president of Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute. Parodi is a results-oriented, strategic health care executive with a diverse background in senior management, health care operations, and development experience in academic, non-academic and community health systems.
Parodi previously served as Business Administrator, and COO for Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Heart and Vascular Institute in Wilmington, NC, and prior served as the Vice President of Cardiovascular Services for Ascension in Texas. In his previous roles, he worked in partnership with regional presidents and hospital leadership to develop and execute strategies to elevate the quality of care, customer experience, financial performance, and physician engagement for cardiovascular services.
Parodi received his bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Maryland with a Pre-Physical Therapy Minor and continued his education at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland where he received his master’s in management with a concentration in health care.
Parodi serves as a volunteer for the American Heart Association, where he’s held several committee and leadership positions, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
