Meet Your Provider
What led you to become a heath care provider?
I became a medical provider because I have always had a heart for caring for others. The specialty of urgent care allows me to combine problem-solving with compassion – meeting patients in moments of uncertainty, addressing their concerns quickly and helping them feel supported and reassured. I enjoy the variety, the pace and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a short amount of time while still providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
What are the top three most common services you provide?
The three most common services I provide are minor injuries, such as sprains, simple fractures, cuts, and burns; diagnosing and treating acute illnesses such as respiratory infections, ear infections, urinary tract infections, rashes, and flu-like symptoms; and offering treatments and addressing concerns related to women’s health.
What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
The most rewarding part of urgent care for me is being there for people when they really need help right away. Many patients come in worried or uncomfortable, and I love being able to calm their fears, treat what is going on, and send them home feeling better, cared for, and supported.
Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personalized health care they deserve.
One of the top ways I ensure each patient receives the quality, personalized health care they deserve in the urgent care setting is by taking the time to listen and quickly establish trust, even in a fast-paced environment. I focus on understanding their concern, clarifying expectations for the visit and addressing any worries they may have. By combining efficient assessments with genuine empathy, I tailor care plans to their needs while providing clear education and reassurance. This approach helps patients feel heard, supported and confident in the care they receive – even during stressful or unexpected health visits.
What are the topics or areas of your specialty that you most enjoy educating patients about?
I enjoy helping patients understand topics such as infection prevention, medication use and warning signs to watch for regarding their health. Taking a few minutes to explain the “why” behind a diagnosis or treatment helps patients feel more confident and calm, often leading to better outcomes.
