Dr. Bennett is thorough and thoughtful. She doesn't talk down to you and she listens to understand. She shares her knowledge. You know that she read your file BEFORE your appointment. There has been times when I thought she should have been more aggressive with my treatment. When she noticed (after lab results) her misjudgment she immediately secured a more aggressive treatment.

Biography
Janelle Bennett, M.D. is a highly skilled oncologist with Baptist Medical Group – Hematology & Oncology. She is dedicated to caring for adult cancer patients and welcomes new patients in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze.
Dr. Bennett has relocated to Pensacola, FL with her husband and their three young children. She is a native to Spokane, Washington where she attended Gonzaga high school before studying at Carroll College in Helena, MA. She then completed her residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Following her residency, she was chosen as a chief resident and junior faculty member, which she gladly accepted considering her love of teaching, and continued there with a fellowship in hematology and oncology. She started her career with Valley Medical Oncology at Stanford while her husband completed his training in Pediatric Neurosurgery with Stanford University. They are thrilled to grow their home in Pensacola.
