Meet Your Provider

What led you to become a physician?
My journey to becoming a physician, and ultimately a cardiologist, was driven by my passion for helping people and making a meaningful difference in their lives. My focus is on preventing cardiovascular disease before it develops, through early lifestyle changes and proactive risk factor management.

What are the main/primary conditions you treat?
I treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, rhythm disorders, heart failure, valvular disease and other risk factors that impact cardiovascular health.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
I find it most rewarding to guide patients in preventing cardiovascular disease and supporting them through recovery from cardiac events, helping them regain their energy, confidence and quality of life.

What is something about you that only your patients would know?
My patients would know that I take the time to listen carefully and ensure they fully understand their options, so we can make informed decisions together about the best approach to their heart health.

How would a patient describe you?
Patients would describe me as approachable, empathetic and committed to working together to make informed decisions and provide the best possible care for their heart health.

What’s your proudest moment as a doctor?
My proudest moments are seeing patients recover from serious cardiac events or make lifestyle changes that prevent heart disease, knowing I’ve helped improve their quality of life.

In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship?
The most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship is trust—listening carefully, understanding concerns and working together to make the best decisions for their health.

What can a patient expect when they have you as their doctor?
Patients can expect compassionate, attentive care where their concerns are heard and understood. I prioritize open communication, shared decision-making and personalized strategies to protect and improve their heart health.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
The most encouraging part of my work is seeing patients take charge of their heart health and make meaningful changes that improve their well-being.

What are your top priorities with every patient you see?
My top priorities with every patient are ensuring they understand their heart condition or cardiovascular disease and helping them identify modifiable risk factors, lifestyle changes and therapies that can improve survival and quality of life.

Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personalized health care they deserve.
I ensure each patient receives quality, personalized care by taking the time to listen and get to know them on a personal level, so we can create a plan that truly supports their heart health.

Is there anything more that you would like prospective patients to know about you?
I’m dedicated to listening, educating and partnering with patients, serving not just as their cardiologist but as an advocate for their heart health.

Do you have any specific medical interests?
I have a special interest in advanced cardiovascular imaging, using leading-edge cardiac techniques and imaging modalities to provide patients with comprehensive, personalized heart care.
