The AFib Center at Baptist Heart & Vascular Institute (BHVI) is the only AFib facility in the Gulf Coast region. Our team consists of six electrophysiologists (EP), two cardiothoracic surgeons, five advanced practitioners, one nurse navigator and clinical team members that are available to help guide you through your AFib care plan. BHVI's AFib Center can provide you with quality comprehensive care and a personalized pathway for treatment of you or your loved one’s AFib and related symptoms.

AFib Center provides:

• A full staff of advanced practitioners, a nurse navigator, and clinical staff
• Direct patient contact by our nurse navigator within 24 hours of referral
• Appointments with one of our electrophysiologists within 72 hours depending on clinical indication
• Personalized care and treatment plans based on the individual needs of the patient
• Multi-disciplinary collaboration for co-morbidity treatment options

Our team at the Afib center offers:

• A personalized patient pathway to help navigate any upcoming appointments, testing, or procedures.
• Direct access with your nurse navigator for any questions or concerns you may have.
• An A-Fib coordinator can be reached at 850.430.7156 Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A physician is on call after hours.
• A team of physicians accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) and their staff dedicated to compassionate, quality care.
